1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Laayog ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Platform.

These terms apply to all users of the Platform, including job seekers, employers, and visitors.

2. Description of Services

Laayog is an online job portal that connects job seekers with employers in Bhutan. Our services include:

• Job listing and search functionality
• Profile creation for job seekers and employers
• Application management system
• Resume/CV builder and storage
• Communication tools between parties
• Premium features and subscriptions

3. User Accounts

Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for extended periods.

4. Job Seeker Terms

As a job seeker, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile and applications
• Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or credentials
• Not apply for positions you are clearly unqualified for repeatedly
• Respect employers' time and respond to communications professionally
• Not use the Platform to spam or harass employers
• Keep your profile information current and up-to-date

5. Employer Terms

As an employer, you agree to:

• Post only legitimate job opportunities
• Provide accurate job descriptions, requirements, and compensation information
• Not post discriminatory job listings
• Comply with all applicable employment laws in Bhutan
• Protect the confidentiality of applicant information
• Not use applicant data for purposes other than recruitment
• Respond to applications in a timely manner
• Not post fraudulent or misleading job advertisements

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Collect personal information of other users without consent
• Distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's functionality
• Circumvent security measures or access controls
• Use automated systems or bots without permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Recruit for illegal activities or pyramid schemes

7. Payments and Subscriptions

Credit System

Our Platform uses a credit-based system for premium features. Credits can be purchased and are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

Subscriptions

Subscription plans auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Refunds

Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team within 7 days of purchase for refund requests.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Laayog and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with our services.

9. Content Guidelines

All content submitted to the Platform must:

• Be accurate and not misleading
• Not infringe on third-party rights
• Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate material
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The accuracy of job listings or user profiles
• Employment outcomes for job seekers
• Quality of candidates for employers
• That the Platform will meet your specific requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laayog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past twelve months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Laayog and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bhutan.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
